This notice explains how AsbestosInspection.co.uk handles personal information submitted through this website. For questions or rights requests, email info@asbestosinspection.co.uk.
Information collected
An enquiry may include your name, company, email, telephone number, contact preference, property postcode, project details, timing, source and campaign fields, and an optional photo, plan or report. The system also stores the submission time, consent notice version, a one-way hash of the connection IP address for security, and a spam score.
Why the information is used
Information is used to store and respond to the enquiry, identify the requested service, introduce the enquiry to a relevant professional provider, prevent abuse, maintain records and deal with complaints or legal obligations. Sharing for provider contact is based on the request and consent given in the form. Security and service administration rely on legitimate interests.
Who receives it
Information may be available to authorised website administrators, hosting and email suppliers, and relevant professional providers asked to consider the enquiry. It may also be disclosed where required by law or to establish or defend legal rights. It is not sold as a marketing list.
Uploads and security
Uploaded files are stored outside the public document root and are available only through administrator-controlled access. Email copies may be sent through the configured mail provider. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure, so do not upload unrelated or unnecessary personal information.
Retention
Enquiry records and uploads are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage introductions, handle disputes and meet legal or accounting requirements. Records are reviewed and may be deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to some processing, or request portability. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Identity may need to be checked before a request is completed.
Cookies and analytics
At launch the public theme does not load non-essential analytics or advertising scripts. WordPress may use essential administration or session cookies. See the cookie policy for current details.
